Senior Civil Engineer Job Description
Are you an experienced Senior Civil Engineer looking for a challenging role in the construction industry? We are hiring for one of our clients in Saudi Arabia to take charge of implementing and managing civil engineering projects from design to completion. Position: Senior Civil Engineer

Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)
Industry: Construction / Civil Engineering
Duration: Long Term

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of civil projects, including Design, Construction Documents, Permitting, Bidding, and Construction Administration.
  • Assist in all stages of the project, from initiation to handover, ensuring smooth project flow.
  • Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications; conduct site visits to validate designs and requirements.
  • Prepare cost estimates, technical proposals, and assist with bid evaluations.
  • Conduct value engineering, evaluate subcontractors, and create or review engineering drawings.
  • Oversee planning tasks, scheduling, and prepare project plans, including Material Inspection Reports (MIR), Requests for Information (RFI), and test reports.
  • Conduct site follow-ups, perform quality control inspections, and ensure all work meets project specifications.
  • Solve technical problems while minimizing costs, coordinate with other disciplines to avoid conflicts, and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage supplier communication, assist with procurement, and ensure effective client communication through to project completion and closing.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years in civil engineering
  • Skills: Strong expertise in civil project management, design, construction documentation, and site management
  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to manage tender processes, cost estimates, quality control, and technical problem-solving
