Job Responsibilities
As an MEP Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, execution, and management of complex Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems in a variety of projects. Below are the key duties associated with this role:
- Mechanical Piping and Water Systems Management
You’ll oversee the design and installation of critical systems such as mechanical piping, drainage, sewage, potable water, stormwater, and chilled water (CHW) systems. Ensuring that these systems function efficiently and adhere to safety standards will be a crucial part of your job. - Updating Design Drawings
One of your tasks will be to update design drawings, from Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings to Shop Drawings (SHD). You’ll also prepare Redline to As-Built documentation to ensure that the project design matches on-site realities. - On-Site Coordination
Coordinating on-site activities and ensuring that all installations comply with local regulations is vital. You will work closely with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project proceeds according to plan. - Project Collaboration
You’ll work in tandem with architects, engineers, and project managers, ensuring seamless coordination between the design and execution phases of the project. - Compliance & Regulations

Experience working on projects in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), particularly in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, is highly desirable. - Design & Site Coordination
A strong ability to manage both design and on-site coordination activities is required. You must be able to work seamlessly across different project phases, ensuring smooth transitions from design to execution. - Technical Expertise
