Position: Azure Data Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and manage data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and other Azure services.
  • Work on data warehousing, data modeling, and implement SQL-based solutions for data integration.
  • Utilize Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL Database, Blob Storage, and Data Lake Storage for scalable and efficient data handling.
  • Develop and manage reports using Power BI (both Desktop and Service) to support data visualization and analytics needs.
  • Query and manage data cubes using MDX for business intelligence purposes.
  • Ensure that data solutions comply with data security and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design effective data architecture solutions.
  • Work with Python or .NET for custom data processing where required.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, SQL Database, Blob Storage, and Data Lake Storage
    • Strong skills in SQL, data modeling, and MDX
    • Experience in data warehousing and ETL processes
    • Proficiency in Power BI (Desktop and Service)
    • Knowledge of Python or .NET is a plus
  • Compliance Awareness: Strong understanding of data security and compliance standards
